We are looking to add experienced Veterinary Technicians to our growing team. We are a DVM owned mobile veterinary practice that opened a NEW hospital December 2023! We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, competent, professional, and strive to provide excellent patient care and customer service. Our mobile veterinary practice prides itself on providing high quality, individualized medicine to each patient while creating a schedule that allows team members to maximize their work-life balance. Our new hospital will allow us to continue to serve our patient's needs in surgery and radiology, along with providing in-hospital appointments for our clients.

The veterinary technician has many important responsibilities and play many roles within our practice. They apply their professional skills in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, laboratory testing, patient nursing, and client education.

The technician is entrusted with patient assessments, anesthesia, procedures, treatments, and follow-up patient care. The technician must be a detail-oriented person who can make good decisions, maintain high standards of patient care, and respond quickly and calmly to crises. Technicians need to communicate clearly with the doctor’s, other team members, and clients to ensure that patients receive the care that they need.

Our ideal candidate will have achieved their CVT and possess surgical experience with proficiency in digital dental x-rays and dental scaling as we are a high-volume dental practice. They will also have experience with monitoring, intubating, IV catheter placement, and assisting the doctor. However, we are willing to train the right individual!

As such, compensation and bonuses are reflective of our unique service. We offer competitive salaries starting at $18-$25/hr depending on skillset and education, benefits for full-time employees including 401(k) match, paid time off, holiday pay, as well as employee pet discounts, and monthly and quarterly bonuses for our team members.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Requirements:

• Able to work in homes with owners present
• Perform dental cleanings
• Perform dental x-rays
• Obtaining vitals
• Intake history
• Clear communication
• Follow written protocols
• Basic computer and iPad literacy including ability to type
• Blood draws
• IV catheter placements
• Anesthetic monitoring
• Safely and efficiently operate laboratory equipment including blood machines, fluid pumps, dental/full body x-ray
